Sylvester`s in Los Osos

Amazing burgers, only complaint is the bun is super low quality. My favorite is the mushroom burger 1/2 pound, I bring my own bread but the rest of the burger is just great. Very ma n pa feel, I go back time and time again! Portions are very generous and hearty!

Stopped by during lunch, we ordered fish and chips and the tri tip sandwich. Both were delicious! They accept card and cash but give a little discount when you pay all cash :) will definitely return when in the area

A bit pricey, but hey, it's CA! Amazing burger, onion rings, and pineapple milkshake! And there was enough extra for another whole shake!

Overpriced cant even make a burger right when asked for extra topping going downhill fast! .

I've been eating here for years! One of the best birger places I've ever been to! Love the entire menu, from the heart attack and mango habanero to the exoctic meat selections and everything in between!

Bomb local favorite. Been going here for years and always good comfort food. Especially great when paired with a cool sunny day in the area. Have to try the elk burger patty as its delicious! Nice outdoor seating and decorated for holidays. Staff polite.

It was great got a free birthday burger the onion rings and zuccinni were a little under seasoned. Was my first time their I really liked it tho.

Fresh, tasty food, very pleasant staff. Comfortable atmosphere. Couldn't detect buffalo flavor in Buffalo burger. Would like to see prices about 15% lower.

Now offering big, juicy IMPOSSIBLE burgers served up vegan-Sly-style complete with vegan cheese and vegan special sauce! Stoked that I can still enjoy this local and non local alike favorite even with a vegan diet. Also, Sylvester's fries are the best on earth. If they come out with a vegan milkshake option... I'll be over the moon.

After deciding burgers sounded nice for dinner, we ordered take out from Sylvester's. Upon arriving home, after only a 5 minute drive, the burgers were so soggy that they fell out of the bottom and began leaking their "special Sylvester sauce" all over our kitchen counter. If we wanted our kitchen counters covered in yucky goop, we would have bought a can of gravy from the store instead. The burgers were lack luster at best. Would not recommend for takeout.

1/2 Pound Mushroom burger, garlic fries, and a vanilla shake. Oh ya!! Love this place and always make a stop when spending time in the central coast.

Awesome fish and chips and fried mushroom. The clam chowder is good and comes in a big plastic bowl. The burger was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great place!

The impossible burger is worth trying if you like trying vengan things. If you like meat, you can’t go wrong with any of the many choices on their menu.

The burgers were very large, offered multiple size burgers. I was stuffed!! Very tasty and very fast and very friendly staff. I look forward to coming back

Sylvester's is a locals spot. It gets very busy. The food is okay, the meat doesn't seem to be seasoned as its pretty bland, they try to make up for it with a large variety of toppings. Not my favorite but it is a favorite among a lot of others. Its the only burger spot in los osos. If you've never been give it a go, even if just for the touristy novelty.

I finally had the famous Sylvester's burger and garlic fries and I loved every night of it.

Service with a smile and really showed a willingness to make sure our time there was the best it could be. Food was amazing great burgers and my daughter enjoyed a salad which was also amazing. The decor was rustic and fun also clean. A great stop on out trip would recommend to anyone passing through the area.

Good burgers, good malts. Kind of a funky locals hang out that you'll want to experience. They also have tri tip sandwiches, chicken strips, and exotic meats and beer. Their clam chowder is award winning. Very friendly service too.

Just went there and young girl with glasses has no emotion, not s simple hello or thank you. I guess McDonald’s or Burger King is really not that bad, at least that acknowledge you. I suggest the young girl finds something that fits her personality. My other friends noticed it also. I go there pretty regularly but there are many other choices

Amazing burgers! I’ve been going there for years, but most recently I tried their ghost pepper burger. It was so spicy I had to get tissues to start blowing my nose... and even then the burger was top notch.Highly recommend. 10/10 not enough water

Absolutely solid burgers, starting at a third of a pound and going up in size! Tons of varieties of burgers, a lot of sauces are made there, just incredible all around. One of my favorite burger spots on the central coast. You can get any burger for free on your birthday if you pose in a hat and let them take a picture and stick it up on the wall for you :)

Found this place on accident, rolled in there about 10 minutes left till closing. I have to say this is the best hamburger I’ve ever had my life, and I’ve had a lot of good burgers. Great service great burger this is where God goes to get burgers

I love their Mushroom burger. When they say it's smothered in Mushrooms you just can't believe it the first time you see it. I just had chicken burger with mushrooms and was not disappointed.

Great staff! The food is great. The heart attack burger makes the drive worth it if you are traveling through this should be a "must stop here to eat. "

Great place to go for a burger. The food here hasn't changed much in the 15 years I've been coming here. The newer owners made some subtle changes which definitely changed the overall taste of a few burgers, but overall they have maintained a high quality standard thankfully. Their other restaurants have dome a great job emulating this original location. Definitely a SLO county must visit. If you have it in you, you should try the burger challenge. It's a lot of fun, but downing 5lbs of food isn't easy.

I've ordered the salad bowl and it's excellent. Almost a Burger on top of a salad. Very friendly service.

Definite worth a stop for an excellent but very messy burger. You’ll need to work it off after. Good for family, friends, kids, and a fun high school date type situation. Few seats inside but much more outside on the patio. Parking is very limited and it gets crazy busy I’ve heard.

A classic greasy spoon. A nice little selection of beers on tap and delicious burgers. Sweet potato fries with powdered sugar were a bit much.

Hamburger was great. Nice spot for a quick bite. I would return. Parking lot was full but there is street parking.

Amazing bugers went here once visiting out of town. I went back with my whole family just so they can experience the same taste that I did back in July... They all loved it I obviously loved it workers hooked us up with some drinks! The meal was highly enjoyable will be stopping by every time I visit the coast!

Awesome service no matter what time the day you get some of the best tasting burgers I have ever had. Even my 6 yr old sons corndog kids meal was so darn tasty ai killed it off for him 😂😂😂🙌

Best burgers and shakes in slo county, and best of all they have vegan options like the impossible burger that tastes just like the real thing! The staff is super friendly and helpful. I always find great seating with a view of the nearby mountains. Daily weekday specials make my week sweeter.

We had really been looking forward to having a burger at Sylvester's. Tonight we were sadly disappointed. The burger was not promptly delivered because the bun was totally soggy. The burger was nicely seasoned, but just average. The tomato was not nice and fresh. I have to admit the fries were very delicious! I think my experience was tainted because there were 2 employees sitting next to us who were hanging out after their shift, for hours. They were watching videos, swearing, using vulgar language and spitting seeds into a trashcan they had dragged next to our table. The manager should have known to tell them to leave, or monitor their actions. There were also no paper towels in the men's room. I understand this is a casual dining restaurant, but it was not worth the $30.

One of the best burgers I have had. Great little restuarant with great food. Get the garlic fries and add there clam chowder and cheddar cheese. You can think me later.

Best burgers on central coast. By far!

We got takeout and it was terrible. The burgers were so wet they fell out of the bottom of the bag they came in. The bottom bun of every burger was completely liquified, the fries were soggy and limp. The patties were dry and overcooked even though it literally says on the menu they will be pink in the middle. Some of the burgers had sauces they weren't supposed to. Cannot recommend, although it might be better in person.

Really good. I think the bigger you go on the patty u lose juiciness but overall the place is great. Also the onion rings are the reason to come back for more.
